Strange red light in the sky reported to local news site, Como, Italy 19 Feb 2021

The Italian news site "quicomo" has reported a strange red light in the sky from one of its readers,  Massimo.

Massimo states "I live in Como, near via Monti. Friday night in the sky I saw a red ball as shown in the photo I am attaching.

The object has actually remained motionless (it has moved to the left only once and then returned to its place).

I specify that the photos were taken from my balcony, behind me there is the mountain of Brunate, and in front there is the Monte Croce.

She remained in heaven from 21.00 to 23.30. Then I went to sleep and I don't know when she disappeared.
I have read that recently there has been an identical phenomenon in Reggio Emilia.

We excluded ball lightning (because they last a maximum of 5 minutes), Chinese lamps (because they always go upwards and then go off) and indeed even drones given the autonomy and immobility.

On Friday the sky was cloudy and so it is not even planets or stars.

Obviously, I would also exclude a plane, which is always due to immobility.

What could it be?" 

Analysis

There have been a number of reports of motionless red lights in the sky recently, several of which have been in Italy, such as Bright red object videoed hovering over Capolona, Italy 25 Jan 2021, Bright stationery object videoed hanging over the town of Olbia, Sardinia, Italy January 2021, but also in Vietnam - Bright red unidentified light appears above Hanoi, Vietnam, 11 Feb 2021

Could these all be the same phenomenon?

Flying disk-like object videoed from Brazilian TV weather report helicopter over the city of Sao Paulo, Brazil 16 Feb 2021

A weather report regarding the heavy cloud and rain filmed from a TV news helicopter over over the city of Sao Paulo on16 Feb 2021 may have inadvertently captured a unidentified flying disk.

 

The presenter even jokes with the idea that it is an UFO when it passes.

 

Analysis

The object is too far away to get a good look and the blurred, fast moving object could very well just be an aircraft.

Airliner Encountered Unidentified Fast-Moving Cylindrical Object Over New Mexico 21 Feb 2021

According to the website War Zone, an American Airlines Flight 2292, an Airbus A320 flying between Cincinnati and Phoenix on February 21st, 2021, had a bizarre close encounter with what its crew described as a "long cylindrical object that almost looked like a cruise missile" moving extremely fast over the top of their aircraft as it cruised along at 36,000 feet and 400 knots. The incident occurred over the remote northwest corner of New Mexico, to the west of the tiny town of Des Moines. 

 

Steve Douglass, an experienced radio interceptor and the proprietor of Deep Black Horizon, told The War Zone that he was recording from his arsenal of scanners when he heard the strange transmission. The War Zone has reviewed over an hour of audio that Douglass had provided to them from before and after the strange radio call. They are working to authenticate it from the FAA and get further information and comment from the agency on the event. They have also reached out to American Airlines for any additional details they can provide.

At approximately 1:19 CST on the Albuquerque Center frequency of 127.850 MHz or 134.750 MHz (recording wasn't frequency stamped) the pilot reported: "Do you have any targets up here?  We just had something go right over the top of us - I hate to say this but it looked like a long cylindrical object that almost looked like a cruise missile type of thing - moving really fast right over the top of us."

According to Flight 24 and Flight Aware AAL 2292 was over the northeast corner of New Mexico west of Clayton, New Mexico. No reply was monitored by Albuquerque Center because local (Amarillo) air traffic walked on top of it. AAL 2292 was near flight level 370 (37k) at the time of the report. 

No significant military aircraft presence was noted on ADS-B logs. 

The aircraft flew on to land in Phoenix, AZ.

Dark, round object caught hovering in air near Denizli, Turkey 21 Feb 2021

A video showing a dark round object hovering in the air has been sent to a local News outlet, "Denizli24haber" in Turkey, and has been uploaded to Youtube.

 

The object apparently stayed in the same position for "a long time". Frustratingly, we do not know how long is "a long time" nor what happened to the object at the end of the video.

Analysis

Unfortunately, the video is of too poor quality to make out any details. Examples of earthly objects that hover include helicopters, drones, tethered balloons and airships and kites. Any may provide a possible explanation.

A flying object hangs in the air for a long time in the image taken by a follower from Şirinköy Neighborhood of Merkezefendi district and estimated to be on Göveçlik Mahallesi.

Shiny metallic sphere UFO moving swiftly in the air over Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico 21 Feb 2021

A video purporting to show a shiny sphere UFO moving swiftly in the air over Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico has been posted on Reddit, 21 February 2021.

 

The object skims above the tree line, moving behind a tree and some power lines before existing off screen. 

Another Reddit user who analyzed the video says "Having witnessed a stationary silver sphere many years ago, I'd say this looks eerily similar. I loaded this video up in my editor and analyzed it pretty thoroughly. Here's what I got:

The flight motion appears linear and consistent, and tracks as moving east-northeast from the camera's perspective. It doesn't appear to be tumbling/spinning, bobbing or ascending (as one would expect a balloon to do). While it does appear to be quite windy out, I can't immediately chalk the motion up to wind travel. Anyone claiming it's CGI and is in front of the power lines is incorrect, its tracking well behind. The movement behind the trees appears legit, and it's relative movement and tracking do not shift or change with the camera's movement.

Likelihood of being CGI: 0% Likelihood of being a balloon: >40%"

Whilst another comments "I wouldn't dismiss CGI so quickly. That blue sky would make a super easy composite mask."

Unknown multiple lights hovering over the ocean near Rosarito, Mexico 20 Feb 2021

A video showing a string of lights presumably in the sky over the ocean near Rosarito, Mexico has appeared, dated 20 February 2021. The lights can be see to slowly fade out one by one.

 

The witness states "We took a video in our condo on the 9th floor in Rosarito Mexico. 8 to 10 lights in a straight path moving sideways over the ocean. They just disappeared after 45 seconds. Shortly after we saw what looked like a coast guard ship speeding to area and searching"

Analysis

There have been several similar reports lately, most notably, Multiple bright hovering lights over the Gulf of Mexico, 28 Dec 2020 which appeared in exactly the same area. In most cases, the lights fade out in by one, suggesting they could be some kind of flare. The alleged presence of a coast guard vessel in the area this case may suggest some kind of exercise was taking place, with the use of night illumination flares? Or the lights may be something unidentified under investigation by the coast guard!

 There is no further information.

Bright star-like object that appeared and moved fast over Glendora mountain, California USA, 16 Feb 2021

Daniel Soto has posted a rather poor quality video showing a bright, star like object moving fast over Glendora mountain, California USA, on 16 February 2021.

Daniel states "Just witnessed a bright star like object at 6:02 PM. At first it looked like a plane flying west to east while I was listening to a voicemail. The light then stopped blinking and turned bright and stopped. Thats when I stumbled to get my phone to record and watched it do a fast dip that left like an orange trail. As I was following it I was able to start recording when it was hovering over Angeles national forest. Then it disappeared, as I was focused where I last spotted it, out of the corner of my left eye it appeared over Glendora mountain ridge rd. I turned the camera and was able to capture how it moved and disappeared. Not sure what it was, maybe a drone who knows. But it sure moved weird and it's not the first time I've seen phenomenon in the Glendora hills"

 

Analysis

A drone would really be the only object that would look and move in the same way as the object in the video.

A bright red light object has been videoed hovering above Hanoi, Vietnam, on 11 Feb 2021. 

 

In the video, the bright red light gradually fades away. There is no more information and the video cannot be verified.

 Analysis

This could possibly be a red signal flare, the object does float towards the ground before going out. However, the object does show some similarities with the red object spotted over Capolona, Italy 25 Jan 2021

Several silver spherical objects in the sky over Salida, California, USA on 30 Jan 2021

YouTuber "Rob Cox" has posted a video showing several  silver spherical objects floating in the sky over Salida, California, USA on 15 Feb 2021.

Rob states "As my wife and I were in our backyard on Jan. 30th, 2021, we saw several silver spherical objects in the sky. Only today, when looking at the footage again, did I notice that there was a disc-shaped object that sped back and forth into and out of the framed shot. I noticed the first one at about 7 seconds into the video. This has not been edited or adjusted in any way."

 

Strange multiple bright lights in the sky over Laguna Niguel, California, USA 7 Feb 2020

A report has just been submitted to MUFON of a suspect UFO sighting over a year ago. Strange multiple lights were caught hanging in the sky over Laguna Niguel, California, USA 7 Feb 2020.

 

The witness states "The six or seven lights were constant, not blinking, and appeared to be originating over water near Dana point. I was far away, but the lights were very unusual. there are military bases/testing in the area, but this still appeared awkward, i'm not sure what type of training exercise would look like this..."

 

 

Unusual "morphing" "objects caught on video during both day and evening time, Makaha Oahu Hawaii, 7 Feb 2021

 A YouTuber "Sky Walkertexasranger" has posted several videos showing unusual aerial objects over Makaha Oahu Hawaii, 7 February 2021.

 

They say "This morphing craft appeared just over the hilltop from North Shore area. It came down slowly and started out gliding down almost like a bright glowing white hang glider, except we determined it wasn't a hang glider when we noticed the points were moving in and out of its center and there was no person attached hanging below.. then it was like it took off this wider pointy veil (except nothing fell to the ground) and turned into a dark but reflective metallic ball. 

Sometimes it would go so dark tho, that we couldn't see the reflection of the sun on it for a moment. Really bizarre. It hovered slowly down lower where we could clearly see then went behind the building for a minute till it re-emerged and was still doing all these interesting things that did not seem physically possible. 

It would emanate bright blue-green plasma light flashes from it that were brighter than the sun. It blared through the clouds and also had a wider glowing halo around it, then it would turn dark again, and back and forth in a random pulsating rhythm which seemed like Morse code. 

Sadly I only caught the last bit of it on camera but the 6 of us watched it slowly and silently morph by for about 6 minutes. I know its kind of hard to spot at first but its towards the lower middle of the screen. I can zoom in much further on my phone but I'm not sure how I can get the video on to YouTube like that. Let me know if you have any skills or tips on that! Most explainable, thing I've ever seen in my life. Caught a second one a little bit later"

 

Then, the second video

"This is the 2nd of the two UFOs my friends and I saw on 2/7/21 at Makaha Beach on Oahu in Hawaii. I have never seen anything quite like these before. It was amazing" 

"The first was at 5pm (still sunny, sadly my phone was scrambled when it was really close. They both came down from just over the hilltop from North Shore area and curved up towards the mountains. They flew by pretty slowly. We watched the first one in complete awe for about 6 minutes before it blinked in and out of visibility. 

It went off into space. It did not fly towards the airport or Pearl Harbor. It did not take a typical flight path for planes in this area, nor did they look, sound or behave like planes or any drone I've ever seen. 

The videos don't even do these things any justice.. This one didn't seem to be shapeshifting like the first one, but it did glow with an aura that was completely out of this world. There were no wings, winglights or taillights, and no sound".

 

Analysis

Sadly, the videos don't really show any of the things that the objects were claimed to be doing. The videos just seem to show a round object floating along, with the usual suspects coming to mind, balloon, drone...

Two mysterious bright objects in the night sky over Glendale, Arizona USA, 9 Feb 2021. The return of the Phoenix Lights?

A video shared by a Facebook user who goes by the name Jae Luna claims to herald the return of the Phoenix Lights. 

 

The video apparently shot from Glendale, Arizona on February 09 shows multiple flying objects in the night skies. Interestingly, the unidentified flying objects (UFO) spotted in the skies apparently had the shape of a triangle (although this cannot be discerned from the video), and it has made several people believe that the infamous Phoenix Lights have returned.

"Phoenix lights 2.0 UFOs in Arizona!I experienced some UFOs tonight. They seemed to be traveling between dimensions in my opinion," says Jae Luna.

 

In the initial moments of the video, two illuminated flying objects can be seen in the skies, but soon, one object disappeared shocking Luna who was capturing the video using his smartphone. After some seconds, the second UFO also disappeared from the skies.

Analysis

Luna states himself that he can hear jet engines from a nearby airbase. Could the lights not be from those? Landing lights are very bright, and can seem to fade out when the aircraft does a 90° turn away from the viewing point. Aircraft performing circuits will follow the same flight path, so landing lights may appear to come on and then fade out as the aircraft goes about its path. Its a shame the objects are so out-of-focus in the video as they just appear as bright blobs, without any real detail. 

What were the Phoenix Lights?

The Phoenix Lights event happened on March 13, 1997, when several unidentified flying objects were spotted in the skies over the U.S. states of Arizona, Nevada, and the Mexican state of Sonora. Even though the US military has classified these flying objects as military flares, conspiracy theorists strongly believe that these UFOs could be most probably space ships developed by aliens.

Eerie "alien humanoid" figures just discovered on centuries-old cave rock art - Tanzania

Ancient paintings of humanoid figures, bizarre creatures and familiar animals have been discovered under rock overhang that was once used as shelter 'several hundred of years ago.'

A team from the Jagiellonian University in Cracow, Poland spotted the four paintings while excavating the Amak'hee 4 rock shelter site in Tanzania that was once home to the ancient Sandawe indigenous group, which have been around for 87,000 years.

Although many of paintings show are unknown figures, some depict domesticated cattle, buffalo and giraffes, which suggests the artists lived during the hunter-gather era.

Researches note that most are in good condition, mainly due to a rock overhang that protects them from flowing water and sunlight, but because there currently is not a way to date rock art, the team can only guess when it was painted.
  

The group believed caves in hills harbored spirits and would travel to such structures to perform rituals and shout prayers not to disturb the ghosts.

The Amak'hee 4 paintings are believed to center around three images, which includes stylized buffalo heads. "These shapes recall the central dip in the profile of the buffalo head from where the two horns rise and then curve outward away from the head, as well as the downturned ears"

Others, however, note the similarities between the stick humanoid figures with large, insect-like heads and the generally acknowledged appearance of the "greys" or "insectoid" ET's. 

"Even though in the present religion of the Sandawe people—who are descendants of those who created the paintings—we find no elements of anthropomorphisation of buffaloes, nor belief in the possibility of transformation of people into these animals, there are some ritual aspects that offer parallels,' according to the Polish scientists.

Dr. Maciej Grzelczyk, a researcher in the Institute for the Study of Religions at the Jagiellonian University in Cracow, Poland, said: 'The paintings at the Amak'hee 4 rockshelter provide one example of the many rock art sites in the Swaga Swaga area that are locally known but unpublished.'

Strange lights in the sky over Kerhonkson, New York, USA, a UFO hotspot, 9 Feb 2021

A lady from Kerhonkson, New York recently contacted a local newspaper with a image showing a strange light in the night sky. 

  

The witness states "The emailer tells us the photo was taken with the timelapse function on an iPhone 11, around 9 pm on February 9th, 2021 in Kerhonkson. They also explain that they watched the light about 15 minutes and then went inside. The light was still there by the time they went inside." They also say "there was nothing in the sky and no noises accompanying the light."

UFO sightings have been well documented in the Hudson Valley over the years, with  hundreds of people reporting objects flying through the sky in the late 80s and 90s.. There have been episodes of shows like Unsolved Mysteries that focus on the burst of sightings in Dutchess County years ago.

Most recently, CBS Nightly News made a visit to Pine Bush as they looked into a "credible" Hudson Valley UFO sighting in Orange County.

Analysis

Often, lights in the sky are as a result of light projections from the ground below. Perhaps there was a festival or grand opening of a shopping mall or casino?

Potentially habitable exoplanet candidate spotted around Alpha Centauri A in Earth's backyard

A potential Neptune-to Saturn-sized planet that 'could be suitable for life' has been discovered in the habitable zone of our nearest star system. The exoplanet, dubbed 'C1,' was spotted in the Alpha Centauri triple star system a mere 4.4 light-years from Earth.

 

Alpha Centauri consists of three stars named Alpha Centauri A, B, and C. Since 2016, astronomers have found evidence for at least two potentially habitable exoplanets in orbit of Alpha Centauri C, a red dwarf better known as Proxima Centauri. However, there has been some debate about the possibility of life-supporting planets near red dwarf stars since they are small and dim, and habitable zones lie very close in. This may prove problematic as it is unclear if their habitable-zone worlds can hold onto their atmospheres for long.

Now, the new research suggests that Alpha Centauri A could host at least one potentially habitable exoplanet of its own.

The team used a new instrument called NEAR (New Earths in the AlphaCen Region) attached to the Very Large Telescope (VLT) in the Chilean desert, which is operated by the European Southern Observatory (ESO). 

The planet has not yet been confirmed, so it remains just a candidate for now.

Unknown object captured by Helicopter FLIR "heat" camera over San Clemente Island, California, 8 Feb 2021

This video was recorded from a phone of a sailor on a H60 Romeo Helicopters' Forward Looking Infra-Red camera, known as a FLIR. FLIR cameras are typically used on military and civilian aircraft, use a thermographic camera that senses infrared heat radiation. 

 

The helicopter was grounded off of San Clemente Island, California on a 2 week training event. They were doing routine maintenance after shutdown for all flights when they saw the lights. There seems to be 2 balls of light in the distance, and when the FLIR locks on it speeds away so fast the FLIR can't keep up with it apparently.

 

Over the years, many eyewitnesses from the Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard have reported strange UFO activity off the California's southern coast, especially the area around the islands San Clemente and Catalina and now once again UFO activity has been recorded and this time over Clemente Island.

Analysis

The video shows 2 bright round "heat" objects. The image is similar to that obtained from looking at the rear of an aircraft, with the 2 bright objects being the result of heat from engine exhausts. It is slightly odd however that we cannot make out any other aircraft features or the exhaust plume, but this could be due to the range of the object with only the most extreme heat signature observable. 

If the video was taken by a ground technician and not a trained FLIR operator, then they may easily mistake the mundane for unusual. They may also be unfamiliar with all the FLIR systems controls and so were unable to obtain a clearer image.

Conclusion - probably a jet aircraft.

"Inverted half nut" UFO spotted in Roque Pérez, Argentina, 6 Feb 2021

According to the news site "Crónica" at 12:45 on Saturday (6 February 2021), a UFO was observed in the city of Roque Pérez, Argentina. Several people communicated with Crónica repeating the same story: something similar to an "inverted half-nut " crossed the sky of the place.

A neighbor in the area described how he experienced the mysterious observation from his position: “ We were in the field, setting up for an event on Route 205, km 136. We had finished and were getting ready to have a soda. When I looked at the sky, I observed the moon and saw a kind of inverted half-nut pass by. I immediately called a co-worker to see it. He also observed it and was astonished because it was the first time he had seen something like this in broad daylight, " said the witness, who still has not come out of astonishment.

The same person told the Crónica that " shouting" he called a third person, but by the time she approached, it had already disappeared. Due to the speed with which the object was moving, he did not get to take a photograph, but he managed to take a piece of paper and draw what he had seen.

 

The city of Roque Pérez and its surroundings have a long history linked to the UFO phenomenon . In 1991, one night in May around 3 in the morning, a truck driver named Torres and two co-workers were traveling in a truck from a poultry producer in the region, from Begueri in the direction of Roque Pérez. As they traveled along the dusty Route 20, they observed an intensely luminous focus to the right of the road. They reported that his colours were changeable and that he made wobbling movements and circles at a considerable height. The object in question was slightly larger than the star, moving slowly and without making a sound. After about two minutes of observation, it was lost to the west. The three witnesses were quite surprised. 

Ongoing investigation

This is news in development and reporters from the Crónica are traveling to the site to see if they can get photos, videos and testimonials. In recent months there are many voices that provide data on the presence of these strange lights in the sky of the place. Some are convinced that everything is related to the Salado river that passes a few kilometers from the city

A video has just become available showing a bright stationery object videoed hanging over the town of Olbia, Sardinia, Italy January 2021. 

 

The person posting the video, Maury Coc says "I want to clarify that I am not the author of the video but I can testify, believe me or not, that I was able to see the same object myself, during the period of the total Lockdown, above the area of the Fausto Noce park in Olbia."

"I'm still biting my fingers for not stopping to pick it up, initially I mistook it for a sports field headlight, but the further I went the more I realized I was wrong ... but I didn't stop anyway. My fault." 

"Fortunately, today there is this video that repeats this sighting in another area of the city. I have chills but I'm glad I'm not suffering from hallucinations."

 

Police officers baffled by string of flashing lights in the sky, Evansville, Indiana, USA, 1 Feb 2021

“What are those lights?” the Evansville police officer said as he stared at the sky above the Southeast Side of Evansville Monday night. “What are those, man?”.
He and his partner were parked near the intersection of Governor Street and Sweetser Avenue when they spotted a string of blinking white lights.

 

On Tuesday, spokesman Sgt. Nick Winsett said " the EPD had yet to figure out the origin. And Leslie Fella, director of marketing and air service for Evansville Regional Airport, was shocked to see the lights when I sent her a link to D’mechi’s video. EVV hadn’t been notified of any special aircraft traversing the skies on Monday."

 

“Oh wow, very interesting (and strange!) indeed!” she said via email after seeing the footage. “This is the first that I’ve heard or seen of it, and no, we aren’t aware of anything in the area. Although, unless commercial, we aren’t always made aware

Scott Air Force Base in Western Illinois couldn't provide any answers, either. When called on Tuesday, officials in both public affairs and base operations had no knowledge of an air exercise that could have produced the lights. A request for comment from Fort Campbell in Kentucky wasn’t returned.

Analysis

A line of helicopters or drones, each with their navigation lights flashing randomly would produce a similar spectacle. It is a shame we do not know what happened to the objects after the video stopped!

Strange, multiple flashing objects moving towards the ground over Yreka, CA, USA 3 Feb 2021

A recent Reddit video post has shown what looks like multiple flashing objects, floating towards the ground in Yreka, CA, USA 3 February 2021.

 

The witness states "I watched it for a few minutes before I started recording, thought it was balloons at first, once I saw them going up and down decided it was something else and pulled my phone out, after I stopped recording a 2nd set of light came in and they were flying in close proximity then the first set went on the other side of the hill and didn't come back as the 2nd set flew off to the left"

Whilst the witness is concentrating on the objects along the sky-line, more objects can be seen in the bottom right-hand corner of the video, amongst the trees. 

One commentator says "it's along the side of steep terrain. Going up and down doesn't rule out balloons. They get caught in thermals and bob around. Paragliders use thermals along mountain ridges to get nice long flights. Birds use them too."

Whilst another comments "This is a really weird one... I want to say it's caused by the reflection of something, maybe mylar balloons. But rewatching this a couple times, I'm sort of doubting that's what this is. Even though the movement itself certainly behaves like balloon following an air current, the way they "flicker" in and out, how rapid and electric it seems, has left me sort of dumbfounded"

Analysis

The objects do look metallic, perhaps rotating with reflected sunlight causing the flashes. Their motion is reminiscent of balloons floating to the ground.

Conclusion

Perhaps they are several metallic helium balloons, released from a party, finally coming back to the ground?  What do you think?

Cigar-shaped object spotted hovering off California coast - 31 Jan 2021

A video has been posted by Youtuber " Antoni ENKI" showing what looks like a cigar-shaped object hanging in the air. 

 The exact location and time this was taken is unknown.

 Analysis

The object could be an airship or blimp, with the airships' control surfaces not being visible due to the distance involved. However, the object seems longer and thinner than an airship would be.

Bright red object videoed hovering over Capolona, Italy 25 Jan 2021

A witness from Capolona in the province of Arezzo, Italy, was struck by an alleged object of medium / large proportions that emitted a strong red light, as reported by "Medditernews".

The email received by the Italian alien research association (ARIA) was taken over directly by the president and ufologist Angelo Maggioni who immediately involved other experts, former marshal of AMI (Italian Air Force) Iannitti and former B.re dei carabinieri Cavaliere Manzoni, for a verification of the reliability of the video.

 

"The video turned out to be genuine, not artifact or manipulated in CGI" the investigators say." The witness reported that she had not heard any type of noise. A daytime video photos identifed the lights below the object as belonging to a neighboring village Casavecchia. Following a check, there was no local events or celebrations taking place at that time in the village that might explain the light".

A number of man-made objects have been discounted say the investigators; "a Chinese lantern has a characteristic that is always observable when in operation, namely the two different shades that characterize it, pink / yellow at the bottom and intense red at the top, even a possible signal rocket was not compatible with the comparison. Airliners, hot-air balloons, sounding balloons, drones, birds, satellites etc. are excluded from the cases."

Three strange objects caught falling from the sky, then change direction near the ground, Denver, USA 31 Jan 2021 - UPDATED

There have been 2 separate reports of the same incident in Denver, Colorado, USA 2021. Both report three objects slowly falling from the sky, leaving a trail, and then when close to the ground, they change direction and move away.

 

Witness 1 states "I was having my morning coffee, i generally look out my window while i'm doing that. i looked up and i asked my friend if they could see that weird smoke trails. the trails were long at first and you could see that there was a direction change in the upper atmosphere. as it got lower to the ground, i would say within 1,500 feet, they slowly started changing directions and started heading east toward buckley air force base. there was no sound, no odor no strange electromagnetic sensations. these objects did not appear to be in a hurry and they maintained a straight heading. had i not looked at them directly, i probably would have imagined them to be a chemtrail coming from an aircraft. however all three of these maintained a perfect formation until they're out of sight."

Witness 2 provided some video and states " I observed 3 large white objects traveling at a high rate of speed. they maintained their formation and had long tails. the best description is that they looked like cloud tear-drops. 10:45 in the morning and no clouds in the sky- and i observed these very large objects appear to "fall" then move east at a high rate of speed. they maintained their brightness and formation unitl i lost sight of them due to trees and buildings. my sister is the past vp of mufon in mo, btw- and their team of video experts is analyzing this as well."

 

Both witnesses made independent statements to MUFON. 

Analysis

These are most intriguing objects. At first glance, they look like falling space debris. However, we see the contrail that is left shows the objects path, and all three show a gentle curve to the right. 

We can also see that the three objects seem very similar, if not identical in appearance, all showing the same flat front edge and exactly the same contrail structure. 

 

Space debris or a meteorite would certainly fall at a faster rate then these objects, so perhaps they are under some kind of controlled decent. 

We can see that the contrail forms two main trails at each extremity of the object. For aircraft, contrails consist of water vapour from the engine exhausts - could engines be producing these contrails?

Witness 1 claims the objects moved towards Buckley Air Force base - it is interesting that this is home to the US Space command, whose duties include carrying out space surveillance, space communications, space-based missile warning capabilities and support operations.

UPDATE

Other witnesses claim to have seen the same objects but from a different angles. From these angles, it would appear the objects aren't falling at all, but flying normally. Some claim the three objects are just C-17 transport planes and say this is confirmed using a plane tracking site (Adsb exchange). 

 

 

One slight discrepancy remains - C-17's have 4 jet engines and so you would expect to see 4 contrail trails, whilst the objects in the video and picture seems to only have 2 contrails.
