Light aircraft performs steep right-hand climbing turn to avoid an unknown object, Wellingborough, reported to UK Airprox Board, 18 Feb 2021

The UK Aircraft near-miss reporting agency, the Airprox Board, has recently reported a near-miss incident between a light aircraft and an unknown object over Wellingborough that occurred on 18 Feb 2021.

 

The report states, "The DA40 pilot reports that they were performing a VFR navigation training flight and were on a leg tracking towards Grafton Underwood. 

Just 1NM to the south of Wellingborough town, while performing standard lookout, they spotted the UAV closing fast, to the left and slightly below the nose at a range of about 100m. They performed a steep right-hand climbing turn but, by the time they had begun climbing away, the UAV was already abeam their left wing and slightly below. 

The UAV was 1-1.5m across, grey/silver in colour and with no visible markings or lighting. Immediately afterwards they informed Cranfield approach and passed the location of the incident. There was no NOTAM informing of UAV activity in that area active at the time."

The Airprox board conclude "In the Board’s opinion the reported altitude and/or description of the object were such that they were unable to determine the nature of the unknown object."

An alleged alien got out of a UFO and walked through the streets of Santa Cruz, Bolivia 27 April 2021

According to the Bolivian news website "El Tribuno" the  inhabitants of a town in Santa Cruz de la Sierra say that an alien similar to the 'Chupacabra' frequents them looking for children and young people after seeing a halo of light in the sky.

The inhabitants of the Monteagudo neighborhood in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, claim to have received a visit from a being from another world who has very large eyes, but cannot see, and who has hands with three fingers. Prior to its appearance, the neighbors report that a halo of light had appeared in the sky and landed on the spot.

“As the object entered the sky, there was a crash, like thunder. Furthermore, the characteristic of this object is as if it were throwing fire ”, explained ufologist Javier Aliaga.

According to the residents, after the outbreak the alleged alien was seen wandering the streets and they say that he had a resemblance to the legendary 'Chupacabra', frightening children and young people. According to the same neighbors, minutes after his supposed disappearance, the light in the sky went out, leaving traces in the form of circles in the grass.

Strange saucer-shaped object apparently caught on video following a helicopter, Hamburg, Germany, 20 April, 2021

A video has appeared on YouTube by  Jan-uwe Beyer from Hamburg Altona in Germany, taken at 19:33 0n 20 April 2021.

 

He was trying to capture a low-flying helicopter when another bright, saucer-shaped object appears and moves alongside the helicopter, before disappearing behind a building. We don't know if the video is genuine. What do you think?

Unusual bright light captured hovering over Tampa, Florida, USA, 22 April 2021

A video has been posted on YouTube by "ilham bintang" showing a bright light hovering in the sky over Tampa, Florida, 22 April 2021. 

Ilham says the video was taken from Zephyrhills in the morning, looking west over Tampa.

 

Analysis

One YouTube commenter suggests the light is the moon through a gap in the clouds. A quick look on Stellarium shows there was no moon in the west in the morning. Its not the sun either, as the sun rises in the east.

The light looks stationery, but if we overlay a frame from the start of the video and compare with a frame from the end, we can see that the light has moved slightly.

 

If we line up these 2 stills so the clouds overlap, we can see that the light has still moved, so the object is not as a result of a gap in the clouds.

 

 

So, this could be a real object. It is strange that this is the only report however.

Drone camera captures something moving fast near Dikkebus, Belgium 30 March 2021

Drone flyer  Krs Aerial has posted a youtube video from his drone camera showing a small white object streaking through the sky in a straight line over Dikkebus, Belgium 30 March 2021. 

 

He says he only saw the object whilst editing the video. The drone was about 90m high at the time, he says.

 

Analysis

There seems to be more videos from drone uses recording fast moving objects, such infamous Beaver, Utah video from 2016 ...

 

... and the more recent drone video from Korea  

  

There has been a suggestion that the cameras are recording nothing more than fast moving birds of prey, falcons perhaps. You decide.

Mystery saucer-shaped object photographed over Gol, Norway 14 April

The Norwegian news Website hallingdolen.no has posted an interesting image of a suspect UFO taken over Gol at 14.11 on Friday 14 April. We do not have any more information as the site is behind a paywall. More news if we get any.

Metallic disk-shaped object caught spinning near Hocking, Perth, Australia, 19 April, 2021

Youtuber Justin Marks from Hocking, Perth, Western Australia has posted a couple of videos showing what looks like a metallic disk-like object, gently moving towards the ground behind some trees.

Justin says this was taken at 4:00pm and the object was was rotating rapidly.

Analysis

Certainly looks like a UFO - also looks like a balloon.  Anyone's guess!

Colourful flying balls in the night sky over Heilongjiang Province, China, experts dismiss meteors, 14 April 2021

Recently, a string of Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) appeared in Heilongjiang Province, China. Local people saw colourful flying balls in the night sky. Officials have confirmed that "this is indeed the case." However, the whereabouts of related objects are currently unknown.

 

According to reports from China’s "Chutian Metropolis Daily" and "Ran Xinwen" , a UFO video on Weibo has been circulated wildly recently. The person surnamed Liu who made the film lives in Heilongjiang. He pointed out that the incident occurred in the early morning of the 14th of this month. After 3 o'clock, several spherical luminous flying objects appeared in the night sky, and they continued to fly for more than 20 seconds. Although the phone could not capture their exact colours, they were "colourful" to the naked eye and disappeared into the horizon.

 

An unnamed astronomical expert in China claimed that the object was not a meteor from the shape of the object; a staff member of the Fujin Emergency Management Bureau surnamed Li revealed to the media that local officials have been concerned about the spherical UFO incident and confirmed these objects 14 There was indeed a flight over the county in the early hours of the day, and it was not clear where it fell. The equipment owned by Fujin City could not be monitored, and there was no astronomical institution in the area. The matter is still unknown.

Analysis

Looks like space debris re-entering the earths atmosphere.

Doubts cast over recent US Navy "Triangle" UFO video - almost certainly out-of-focus aircraft

The US Navy recently released some video footage taken with night vision goggles from one of their vessels showing "triangle" or "pyramid" shaped UFO's fling over one of their vessels, as reported here.

 

UFO Sightings Weekly did make note of the fact that the "UFO" seemed to have an aircraft strobe light, something alien visitors surely wouldn't mimic?

Anyway, Mick West has posted an excellent video on YouTube which pretty much puts paid to the UFO theory. He proposes that all we are seeing here is an aircraft or drone with an out-of-focus night vision set, with the triangle shaped caused by a triangle shaped aperture iris. Very convincing - case closed.

 

Metallic "Orb" captured moving through forest trees in Cerro del Ajusco, Mexico City, Mexico, 21 March 2021

A rather poor-quality video has been posted showing what looks like a metallic orb moving in and out of trees on the slopes of Cerro del Ajusco, a forested lava dome volcano located just south of Mexico City, Mexico on 21 March 2021.

The witness states "This video was taken with the camera of the Hawei P9 lite cell phone on March 21, 2021 at 2:15 p.m. on the slopes of the Cerro del Ajusco in CDMX, the incredible thing about it is that the object moves the first 50 seconds so horizontally to later stop and go back a few meters, after that it begins its ascent vertically at constant speed (black dot above the clouds)"

 

Analysis

The video is of such poor quality that is not possible to make out any details in the object. Its motion and appearance is nothing out of the ordinary, and it may well just be a metallic party balloon.  

However, his sighting is geographically close to another similar sighting of a metallic orb floating through the trees back in December 2021. Coincidence?

Unusual hovering object sighted over Praia do Secreto Beach, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, April 5, 2021

A video has appeared showing a strange dark object, apparently hovering over the ocean near Praia do Secreto Beach, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, April 5 2021. The object appears to change shape.

 

 

There is no more information, unfortunately.

 

 

Analysis

The object seems to change shape - just like a deflated balloon or even a plastic bag would. However, a balloon or bag would surely drift in the wind or fall to the ground which this object does not appear to do.

Images leaked from Pentagon investigation show UFOs swarm above US Navy destroyer

Amazing images have been leaked from a secretive Pentagon investigation of UFOs.

The Task Force has been gathering evidence for a comprehensive report for Congress which is due in June that includes photographs and videos of UFO encounters with U.S. military assets, including Navy destroyers off the southern California coast.

Part of the report is to educate other military and intelligence officials about the nature of the UFO mystery.

The new images were gathered by the Task Force and obtained by investigative filmmaker Jeremy Corbell, who confirmed their authenticity.

One remarkable video was recorded in July 2019 by Naval officers using a night vision device, showing what appear to be pyramid shaped objects hovering 700 feet above a Navy destroyer. The object seems to have a strobe light, similar to an aircrafts. Perhaps a drone after all?

This (video) was taken on deployment from the USS Russell,” Corbell said. “It shows what they described as vehicles. And they made a great distinction. They made sure in this classified briefing, they made a great distinction that this is not something that we own either a black project, this is not something of a foreign military, that these were behaving in ways that we did not expect. And that they were you know shaped non aerodynamically. Like pyramids, these are flying pyramids!”

The video is one of several forms of visual evidence gathered by the UAP Task Force to document bizarre encounters reported by the U.S. Navy during the past two years, including photos of three stationary drones of unknown origin.

New photos of Unidentified Aeiral Objects taken by US Navy F-18 pilots made available

Military and intelligence officials say they remain baffled by unusual, unidentified aircraft that have been encountered in recent years off both coasts of the United States. Many of the objects have been referred to as drones, but that is not what Pentagon investigators have been telling the chain of command behind the scenes.

Naval Air Station Oceana is the center of airpower on the east coast of the United States. It is a sprawling naval air station in Virginia, home to the best aviators in the world. Since at least 2014, F-18 pilots flying into the zone designated W-72 have reported encounters with a bizarre array of unknown, unidentified objects and aircraft, positioned directly in their daily flight paths.

Investigators with the Pentagon’s UAP Task Force have requested that airmen try to document their encounters. On March 4th, 2019, one of them did.

An F-18 weapons systems officer (WSO) seated behind the pilot used his iPhone to capture images of three different objects he encountered in the same airspace.

At 3:02 p.m. he photographed an odd shaped object. Another photo, taken close to the same time, was first posted to twitter on May 11, 2020, then again on social media 6 months later.

Other photos taken on the same day; March 4th, 2019 have never been made public until now.

The object the Navy calls the “Sphere” was photographed at 2:44 p.m. 

The second one to be photographed was dubbed the “Acorn.” A similar, but different photograph of this same object was published online in December 2020.

Then, 12 minutes later, the WSO spotted a third object,  described as the “Metallic Blimp.” It appears to have various appendages. 

 

Speculation at the time was that the objects might be foreign spy drones, possibly Chinese. Critics tried to explain away the objects. Several people online compared the Acorn to a toy Batman balloon. But two years later, after careful study by the UAP Task Force, the objects remain unidentified.

Remote farmstead security camera captures weird video of apparent bright diamond shaped object, Williston, North Dakota, USA on April 5, 2021

A weird video purporting to show a bright diamond-shaped object moving in the air above some farm storage silos has been provided to MUFON. The alleged event took place at a remote farmstead Williston, North Dakota, USA on April 5, 2021.

The owner of the video states "object was caught by motion detection on ptz camera mounted on top of structure out at remote unoccupied farmstead object moved from north to south - unclear how far away - next motion event was daylight, you can see the grain bins in background there were 2 dead cows found in tree row less than a mile away - no obvious cause of death, covered in mud. no farms with cows around for 10 miles, no reported missing cows from nearby farms never seen anything like this out there on the cameras"

Analysis

This is a very strange video - the movement of the object just doesn't look right: its very smooth and follows a very straight track, almost like a sprite on an early video game.

The object would appear to be shining brightly, and yet the light from it does not appear to illuminate any of the trees, buildings or ground around it. If it were a real bright object, surely it would.

If we superimpose a still from early in the video of the object with that of a daylight still, we can see that the time/date stamp and the dark silo shapes match up.

Conclusion - object just doesn't look right, but lets say unknown

A new MUFO report details a fast moving disk-shaped UFO flying over Christie Downs, South Australia, 5 April 2021.

 The witness states "This morning at 11.00 am i noticed a disc shaped object pass over my house. it appeared to be grey in colour and traveling at a great speed. it was traveling from the west to the east in a cloudless blue sky. there were no other aircraft or objects to be seen. i managed to get a photo of the object as it passed overhead. this is becoming a regular event in the skies over Adelaide."
