Student photographs object with bright lights hovering over the sea before "it sped off" near Teignmouth , Devon, UK, June 2021 - UPDATED July 2021

A student says he was left shocked after spotting a large UFO hovering "for ten seconds" over a Devon seafront - before it sped off into the distance. 

 

Photos he took appear to show four bright lights in a triangular-shaped formation lingering in the night's sky.

The mature student said within seconds of taking the pictures, the object sped off into the distance.

Matthew said: "I couldn't help but see it.

"My kitchen window gives a great view of the sea so when it came across the horizon

"It wasn't moving like a plane would.

"It was moving a lot slower and went up and down for a bit before hovering a good ten seconds.

"It stayed in one spot long enough for me to pull out my phone and get those snaps.

"Then it quickly zoomed off at some speed and I couldn't see it anymore.

"The light was really bright."

"I just didn't know what it could be so I decided to take a picture.

"I'm not quite losing my marbles yet.

"But it's hard to place it so I suppose it is an unidentified flying object."

Update

Local photographer Matthew Blythe also took a photograph from the same location looking out to see that night. He used a proper camera, not a phone camera. What he photographed was the moon poking through a gap in the clouds. As we can see, the image is identical to the "UFO" image taken by Mathew Evans.

Doubts cast over recent US Navy "Triangle" UFO video - almost certainly out-of-focus aircraft

The US Navy recently released some video footage taken with night vision goggles from one of their vessels showing "triangle" or "pyramid" shaped UFO's fling over one of their vessels, as reported here.

 

UFO Sightings Weekly did make note of the fact that the "UFO" seemed to have an aircraft strobe light, something alien visitors surely wouldn't mimic?

Anyway, Mick West has posted an excellent video on YouTube which pretty much puts paid to the UFO theory. He proposes that all we are seeing here is an aircraft or drone with an out-of-focus night vision set, with the triangle shaped caused by a triangle shaped aperture iris. Very convincing - case closed.

 

Bright triangle lights in New Jersey, USA 8 Jan 2021

A video has appeared showing three triangular lights in the sky , then another grouping of the lights appear. All we know is that this video was taken over New Jersey and was uploaded on 8 Jan 2021.

Triangle Shaped object Filmed Over Mariano Roque Alonso, Paraguay. December 10, 2020

Three night-time lights arranged in a triangle have been recorded flying in Paraguay. It would appear from the video that the lights are a fixed distance apart, as if on a single structure.

 

The witness, Job Duarte, states "When I got on my terrace I could see what looks like a super UFO, it was very nice what I could see and record a part of it, my camera is completely black without being able to capture the image of the UFO anymore."

A video showing three red lights flying over Spring, Texas, USA has appeared today 3 Decemeber, 2020. It is not known when the video was taken.

Analysis

Again, the lights seem to be floating at the same speed as an object carried by the wind would.

Triangular light formation over Canada

Footage from Dec. 1 2020 shows three orbs in triangle formation in the skies over Abbotsford and Aldergrove, Canada.

The witness description states:

“Driving east from 264 and Fraser hwy. At Aldergrove B.C. son observed orange glow low obscured by trees, pulled over to see three orange orbs in triangle formation. Wife documented on phone, lights stayed same distance from each other while slowly heading s.w. and slight rotation. 20 sec. or so later a single fiery orange orb brighter than the others followed on the same flight path at the same speed.”

 

Analysis

We have no frame of reference in the video - we cannot see the ground, and so it is difficult to determine the speed or dynamics of the objects or object. It is not possible to determine whether this is one large object with lights or three smaller unconnected objects. The object(s) do not display any characteristics that cannot be explained by known terrestrial objects, such as Chinese lanterns, flares and drones.
