The following video has been posted by Scott at ET Data Base which shows a very unusual object in the vicinity of the ISS on a video camera feed.
Scott gives his own analysis of the strange angular object. NASA track space junk and if projected to come near the ISS, action is normally taken, such as moving the ISS into a different orbit to avoid (see here for an explanation about how the ISS is protected from space junk). So, if this is known space junk, it is unlikely that the object would have got so close to the ISS.
The object itself is quite angular in appearance with no obvious external features such as control nozzles or solar panels, so is unlikely to be a man-made satellite.
The object seems to keep pace with the ISS for a considerable length of time so would appear to be in a similar orbit. However, towards the end of the video, the object seems to move quickly to a higher orbit. Scott observes a green "flame" as the object leaves the camera frame but this is more likely camera flare.
It is unusual that the crew of the ISS do not pay too much attention to the object and it is strange how NASA did not cut the feed as is normally claimed by Ufologists when a suspect craft appears on video.
Nevertheless, the object does warrant some attention and it will be interesting to hear what NASA have to say.
