Daylight disk-shaped object spotted over Catania, Scicily, 7 Jan 2021

A new UFO sighting, 5 years after the last one on the Pantano seafront, was reported on Thursday morning in Riposto. Against the background of the blue sky, with some white clouds, an unknown flying object suddenly emerged near the disused sports field “Corvaja”, immediately photographed by its incredulous observer. The Sicilian UFO Center of Riposto, chaired by Salvatore Giusa, was involved in the sighting. 

"The sighting of the unidentified flying object - says Giusa - was made by a man from Catania around seven on Thursday, while he was in the area of ​​the" Corvaja "sports field in the Immacolata district. The man saw the UFO traveling quickly in the sky, then the flying object stopped, to start again shortly after. The sighter had time to take a photo. The image carefully examined by us seems original, without counterfeiting ".

Analysis

The image is too poor and there is no reference with the ground to make any real conclusions. Could possibly just be a strange cloud.
